The Great Job Redesign

TRACK
2. Talent Systems
1:30 pm
2:15 pm

Roles are changing faster than most workforce plans can keep up with. The World Economic Forum just named job design and upskilling the top priority for people leaders this year, and it's easy to see why.

As AI automates and streamlines more of the day-to-day, it's forcing a harder question:

What work is actually worth doing now, and who (or what) should be doing it?

People leaders are redesigning roles around that split, building AI literacy for the tasks AI leads, and doubling down on the human skills it can't replicate for the rest.

In this session, three Chief People Officers from fast-scaling tech companies share what this shift actually looks like inside their organisations, and how they're preparing their people for it.

What you'll leave with:

  1. A practical way to think about the split between AI-led and human-led work, and how that's reshaping what a role actually looks like.
  2. What these CPOs are actually doing inside their organisations to redesign jobs around that split, not just talk about it.
  3. Where they're still figuring it out, and what to watch for before it becomes a problem in your own workforce.
