Head of People & Culture at The Garden

Donna Harding is Head of People & Culture at The Garden, where she brings a different lens to HR, shaped by a career across sales, demand planning, marketing and business growth in Australia, Singapore and the US. She is passionate about growth, both for businesses and the people inside them, and believes happy teams do their best work when they feel supported, inspired and part of the journey. Since joining The Garden in 2022, Donna has helped the team in its evolution into an AI-enabled marketing services business, finding smarter ways to work while bringing people along every step of the journey.
Roles are changing faster than most workforce plans can keep up with. The World Economic Forum just named job design and upskilling the top priority for people leaders this year, and it's easy to see why.
As AI automates and streamlines more of the day-to-day, it's forcing a harder question:
What work is actually worth doing now, and who (or what) should be doing it?
People leaders are redesigning roles around that split, building AI literacy for the tasks AI leads, and doubling down on the human skills it can't replicate for the rest.
In this session, three Chief People Officers from fast-scaling tech companies share what this shift actually looks like inside their organisations, and how they're preparing their people for it.
